Panasonic TZ8 - Dust inside the lens (Example shot included) - Where to get repaired?

Pretty much as the thread title suggests. I've had my Panasonic TZ8 for a couple of years now and while on holiday a few weeks ago I noticed a few marks on the photos. Luckily I'd bought a second waterproof camera to take with us, so used that for the rest of the holiday.

However, I still want to get it repaired.
Now I'd have thought it's dust on the sensor, but I can see some marks *inside* the lens too.

Where can I send to get it repaired / cleaned...and what's the estimated cost?

Depending what it's going to cost to repair the TZ8 you could be as well getting a TZ25 for around £140.

I would be tempted to try the fit for use route - that shouldn't happen on a camera without interchangeable lenses. I would get in touch with Panasonic UK and maybe even play the "owner of a large, active photography forum" card.

If I could have been bothered (about anything!), that's what I should have done with my waterproof Oly that wasn't but on first contact with them, they said that it was out of warranty so tough lady bumps! In one respect they did me a favour - the pix from its replacement are much better anyway - thanks Canon!

That might be worth a try, although I never do like using the TP card...I'm too nice for that

I miss my TZ8 which stupidly I sold last year thinking buying a TZ30 for my wife would be a good upgrade. I am not at all convinced the TZ30 is better - in fact far from it unless my memory of the TZ8 is through 'rose tinted glasses'.

So hope you find a way to get the TZ8 sorted as I couldn't 'hand on heart' recommend the latest versions TZ30 & I believe the TZ40 is here.
