Panasonic's 100-300

My 300mm on my 60d is about 450mm but would the pany 100-300 on 4/3.be equivalent to 600mm if you see what I mean, confusing myself here lol
 
It's a nice lens, but you have to remember you're using a very long, light lens that isn't particularly fast, so it requires good technique to make the most of it. The best long option for M4/3 I my opinion.

And yes, in the terms you're thinking the reach is equivalent to a 600mm lens on full frame.

These are all handheld at 300mm, first is wide open (f5.6), the second is f6.3 and third is f7.1, so pretty much worse case scenario for this lens.

Great shots looks quite capable, was thinking of getting a G5 with this lens as a cheaper way of getting the focal length without the weight
