Panning for fun

Went to a open enduro fun day yesterday, they had turned a 200+ acre disused golf course into a huge enduro circuit. There was no rider list so I have no idea who anyone is and everyone was just out riding for fun so instead of my usual attempt to catch every rider I decided to have fun too and experiment with slower than usual shutter speeds(for me at least). I missed a lot of shots but it was worth it for that panning blur effect on the ones I nabbed.

Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

Excellent set, well done;)

Great pictures Ryan, well done for getting these keepers :D

Excellent work.

Dont really see many MX pics at slower shutter speeds to be fair so well done.

Thanks Glen, most of the other togs I have met at these events tend to favour fast shutter speeds as they are less likely to miss the shot and they are trying to sell the images. As I am just doing it for fun I am less bothered if I miss a few riders here and there. :)
