Panning practise

Looks like shutter speed is to slow as the carts are oof

course the shutter is slow its slow shutter speed panning practise??

i'd be pretty chuffed if these were pin sharp at 1/15 and 1/25 they corner at silly speeds

And unlike you I have accepted my criticism and learned from it. If you don't want critiqued honestly, don't ask for it.

i just find it ironic how you can post a comment about posting about OOF. Go and try yourself and get back to me then i will take your guidance

So what's the point in taking oof shots????????

They aren't out of focus. What you are looking at is motion blur and I'm afraid to say that your 'crit' is inaccurate at best.

Callum, your panning technique is certainly not bad, but the composition needs a bit more work because the subject is too central in both shots.

Take a look at some of Gary's slow shutter work and you'll see that most of the subjects are on the upper or lower thirds crossover - especially for wide shots like these.

Pretty good effort though. Much better than I could probably do! :)
