Panoramic pics

Is there a standard size ratio ie. LxB for panoramic shots.

For prints, I've seen somewhere around 20x8 as standard, but I normally find that ratio isn't wide enough for my shots :/

I use CanvasRus for prints and their panos are at a ratio of 3:1 or as above 5:2. Photobox on the other hand use 2:1 or 7:3.
I think its only a problem if you want to frame a print, otherwise its anything where the image is much narrower than the norm.
