Patience, frustration

2 or 3 hours of beautiful pre sunrise sky. Waiting for the golden hour to kick in and instead a blanket of drab dark cloud has enveloped the scene. I'm praying for a slice of light so I can shoot and run.

Living so close to the East Coast, often see very fast and drastic changes to the sky around sunrise.

Hey, it beats sleeping in I guess :D

Thought I was the only one cursed with this! Get's pretty disheartening so I don't tend to chase sunrise / set as much as I perhaps should.

I tend to be in the valleys or on the mountains more, and I'm guessing, a big part of it maybe due to shifting thermals as the sun drops down and we get the sudden drop in temperature.

Or you get the other annoyance, there's zero cloud and / or haze so the sun drops clearly in view but there's no explosion of colour.
