Pc Ram Help

ok so i am running currently ddr2 with 2x 512 ram corsair make thats as much info i have got on the sticks baring a load of codes non of them say pc3200 as a example so any ideas what type of ram this is baring a ddr2 i want to put in a minimum of 2 1 gb or 1 x 2gb and a 1x 1gb
 
go onto Crucal web site they have a system scanner that will scan your ram etc and tell you what you are running and what you could fit to your mother board..

i generally know what to look for but this one was beyond me when the pc number was missing even the website didnt recognise it baring it is a PC number

could not recognise manufacturer i had to put in the motherboard number to locate it

That's a useful website www.crucial.com

Gives you an idea of what the various memory increases will do in terms of improvement.
I was looking to buy RAM and that site saved me a lot of fishing around.
 
Are you sure it is DDR2.
PC3200 is a rating for DDR400 and not DDR2
 
Lots of folk have told me RAM is cheap just.

Got crucial to do a scan - 2 x 1Gb cards = £76

Then got Orca to scan and they wanted £78 for the same 2 cards.

Aye, but they are folk with DDR2 RAM whilst us peasants with DDR watch the prices rise week by week.
