Gaming is the main driver and I guess Lightroom should be no problem. It's a while since I bought one of these so if there are any silly mismatches in the spec please let me know.

Cheers

A couple of years ago they built me a solid PC I use for photo editing. Very pleased with the service.

Thanks for the replies - after a google session I've placed the order.

Touch wood all will go well and my backup drive will actually restore as advertised - worry , worry.

It's amazing how much you miss games of mindless violence and late night Lightroom sessions when they are suddenly gone.

Cheers
Steve

I had a laptop built by them - good service and runs great for all I need.

Had two computers from them, including this one. No problems and a decent outfit.

Anthony.

I've had two pcs with them, they were very good and I've had some excellent support when I had trouble with a component (not their fault, random death of a part)

I build my own desktops, nice and easy

I have however had the occasion to get them to put together 2 custom laptops for a client and the experience was a terrible one, down to cheap components used, damaged chassis on arrival, other issues and a terrible, couldn't care less, attitude from them about the problems.

So on the basis I would avoid them.

My PC is brilliant and their upgrades are very well priced- my ASUS Graphics Monitor was nearly the same price as the Amazon price.
I would not hesitate to use them again.
Having every item menu priced is fantastic so you can get the best spec for your budget.
BTW get a 64bit machine and operating system it will save you time processing photos.

built few laptops over a years for my mates (as explained what they can get for the money) :) no complains here about them
