Peacock Crop or No Crop?

So I took this photo of a Peacock at Warwick Castle however my framing wasn't brilliant and I chopped his legs off! So to try and save the image I cropped it similar to the guide of where to crop on body parts of a human... Does it improve/salvage the image?

Shame about the feet as that is a gorgeous display - I think if I were to crop it I'd go all the way in so it was just the feathers

Hi Chris. Had a play with your shot. Cropped it to just cut out the grass line keeping most of the peacocks body in. Keeping the body in adds to the amazing colours. Have a play and see what you think.

I prefer the original. I think the way the light and the feathers stem out from its back keeps the image quite central. Nice capture
