Pearlescent colour problem

I have been unsuccessfully playing with my monitor settings and now have a pearlescent type colouring especially to skin tones.
Where do I start to correct this?

If people are going to try and help you they will need a few more details - monitor type + model number, is your display handled through a graphics card? If so make + model number, have you used any other software when trying to adjust your display? If so what software?

To be honest I doubt that will help much either! Best bet is to reset to the default setting (there should be an option in the menu) to get you back to where you started.

THen go and buy a hardware calibrator like a Spyder3. Software is not particularly useful at calibration
