Yes
Took this on my old Fuji S7000.

I've used the shot for my PC desktop for a while, so thought I'd post it for some C&C.

Does not do much for me, Mick.
However, it has given me an idea for a shot.
Take the pebble and scoop out a crescent shaped trail leaving the pebble left (or right ) and below centre.

Not sure what you mean with regard to the shot?

Have a play & re-post (y)

I love the colours in the sand, it's like a whole new world.

You'd need to go back to the spot and re-shoot to get what I was meaning, Mick.
I certainly could not create it in Photoshop.
The sand has a right nice texture for a background.(y)

I'm still not sure what you mean, are you talking about simply using a hand to scrape out the sand?

I was trying to capture the natural shapes left by a receding wave.

I know some rules are made to be broken but the framing and having the stone slap bang in the middle isn't doing anything for me. Appreciate that you wanted to capture a natural form but I think that creating some lead lines like arclight suggested in the BG sand would work really well.
