Peli 1510 foam

I've just bought one of these for my camera, and I got the foam, specifically because it only needs to hold the camera. I bought the foam because I a friend has it, and the foam was very tough/hard, and the shapes appeared to be cut out.

However, my foam is soft, spongy, and is the pick n pluck variety.

Am I missing something here?

Has anyone heard or seen the solid foam I refer to?

Edit: Now. Turns out you can buy custom foam inserts, which I've now done!
