Pentax K-5

Anyone have any experience of these, currently use canon 5d mk2 and a mk 1, but due to not being able to use 2nd curtain sync, it's restricting me, nikon is the obvious choice, but Pentax is cheaper

Why can't you use second curtain sync on the 5D's?

Not off camera , no! I would need to have a 580 or something similar on camera set to master and then use speedlights for 2nd curtain, think everyother dslr in the country let's you, apart from canon

As much as I love my K-5 if you do a lot of flash work then Nikon is the way to go. Not overly impressed with Pentax in this regard but the Nikon flash system is (by all accounts) bulletproof.

im assuming its fine with metered flash in manual mode?
