Pentax K-r

While saving up for an entry level priced DSLR I am constantly reading reviews on suitable purchases within that budget. I keep going back to Pentax K-r which seems apealling. With it's current offers on the twin lens kits it seem to be a lot of camera for the money. Any thoughts. I know the majority of you tend to be in the canon or nikon camp. Does anyone have a K-r or any impartial views. Thanks

I am thinking of getting one as a backup to my K-5.
From the reports it looks like you get a lot of camera for your cash. Best try the Pentax User forum as you will find a few more users there.

From what I have read about the K-r, it is exceptional value for money, never seen a bad review regarding image quality.

I have had one for 3 months and i am delighted with it.It does everything that i require from a slr,well built,shake reduction,good high iso performance and reasonable price.Buy one.
