Pentax k200d - startup dust removal clunk?

Anybody else out there got a Pentax k200d (or similar)?

Could you turn on the startup dust removal option and describe what it feels like when you hold the camera?

I was expecting a fairly smooth vibration, rather like a mobile phone on vibrate. What I actually get is some fairly vigourous vibration and what I can only describe as a "clunk".

Is this normal? I've always been a bit concerned that when you move the camera you feel something moving inside. I'm wondering if the IS system has developed a fault

I had a K20d and the dust removal vibrations was very audible and very tangible. Don't worry about it.
BTW hold the camera upright since the dust is meant to drop on to a sticky pad.

It is indiscernible in my current camera.

Don't worry, it's probably the very first question asked by 99% of new Pentax users
Its normal for the IS to move around as well.
