Pentax K7 Dust Removal sound

Hi All

Just got a Pentax K7 well I really have 2 right now due to a fault on the first one I got. Front e-dial did not function properly.

Well the 2nd K7 that I received today seems fine except the dust removal. When I activate it in the menu there is no noise. I have compared that to the other unit on that one I get a high pitched whine for a couple of seconds.

Is it normal not to hear anything when the dust removal system activates or should I hear the high pitched sound?
 
You should feel a slight vibration but not a high pitched whine..
 
I get the vibration when I turn it on as the aperture mechanism activates on both units. When I activate the dust removal on one of them from the menu there is no noise/vibration at all.
 
Hmm... ok put my ear right up to the body and it does make the smallest of sounds when I activate the dust removal.

Im thinking Im looking for a problem when there is non... or more Im comparing a proven bad copy to one that seems to be perfect bar that dust removal issue/non issue.
 
Yeh Im just going to forget about it. I doesn't affect the function of the camera so not worth my time to worry about it.

Got better things to to do like munch my dinner :)
