Pentax MX...1

Eww... Can't say that appeals to me at all, looks like its trying to get into the Fuji X lineup but fails IMO, the X100 is where it's at (y)
 
Agreed, only Fujifilm seem to pull off the retro look well. This Pentax just doesn't quite hit the spot - and it's certainly no match with its namesake.
 
Wow, with that and the K-01 Pentax are obviously not afraid of offending anybody with any sense of taste/style...

I just don't understand their thinking around design. Obviously all manufacturers are trying to come up with something new (retro-new anyway) and unique but that looks like there's no solid grip at all so you're basically trying to hold the edges of it?

One word...hideous!

It's either a retro camera or it's not....Hybrid stuff typically doesn't look right imo ( not necessarly just cameras either)
