pentax to nikon adapter

I'v got an old Pentax 50mm F2 that I bought an adaptor for my Canon (when I had one) and loved using it. It'll be manual focusing, but that adds to the fun IMO. I have looked at getting a Nikon adaptor and the one in your link looks a reasonable price, might grab one myself.

Have fun.

Chris, try SRB Griturn - they seem to do adaptors (with optics if required) for most applications. As I understand it, they're a bit more expensive than e-bay Chinese ones but they work properly!

Pentax to Nikon, due to flange distance differences, either requires a corrective lens to focus to infinity, or some adapters leave them out and you can only focus short distances.

Nikons are basically not a great platform to mount legacy lenses, because of the long flange distance of the F-mount - the Canon EF mount is shorter, which permits more lenses to be mounted.

e mount nex is king of i got this lens and i stuck it on my camera :D

i think the optical adapters act similer to a teleconverter...

I bought the adapter that I mentioned and it works quite well. The only problem is that I hadn't expected the ttl light meter not to work,I had hoped to set the camera up in manual with the aid of the exposure meter but I have to set the camera up by eye instead. The beauty of digital is I can shoot away with different settings for free unlike film.

tried apature prioety mode?
ive even facerolled my a77 in auto mode with a old lens on, and it was fine :O
