You got lucky there, Roger. A very impressive set and despite the distance, excellent detail.

I've only seen seen a kill like this once and from Rushy but it was way over the fields and someone in the hide said it was a widgeon,I think but that was a couple of years ago.

When I was about 10 saw a dog getting squashed by a lorry on way home for lunch.
Guts everywhere.
Got in an my mum had made stovies.
Still traumatised at that sight.

Yes, it's true. Witnessing incidents like that when you're young can stay with you for life and recall can be like it was yesterday.
