#2 is spot on - focus on the eyes, lovely sharp face fur

They're both good but a very shallow DOF means that, even on the 2nd one, the nose isn't quite in focus. I'd have preferred to see more in focus and I think that would have worked better. Nice light on the 2nd one too.
