Nice shot, I like that. Interesting crop on the sponsor on the LHS of his waistcoat too ;)

Press pass for that one? or shooting from the stalls, as it were?
 
I prefer the name of the website on the right breast of his jacket.
But thats just my immaturity showing :D

Cheers, this year the new sponsors 888.com are not that helpfull, PA and Getty have press passes. I applied and didnt even get a reply, a fellow tog who has been going for years applied for an agency pass and was given a single pass so he can't give it to me. You can't take pics from the stalls as the noise of the shutter annoys the players. This was actually taken in the cue zone where they do the public interviews. Just goes to show you don't have to be where the action is to get a plausable pic.
 
good work then. It must be annoying when things like that happen. After all, everybody has to make a living and I'm sure Getty have more than enough!
 
Nice pic, TBH honest due to the the bokeh of the shot you would probably not have guessed it was taken away from the table;)
