Pheasant, woody, nuthatch

Three good ones Alan, but that Pheasant takes it imo. Works really well with the light and colour of the bg (y)

Thats a really nice set, and another vote for the Pheasant the colour in that shot is really mind blowing I really do like everything about that shot its superb, well done.

Gosforth Park. A members only reserve, but I do believe you can get a day ticket.
Up towards Amble you have Hauxley, Chevington, Druridge Country Park, Druridge Pools &Bay, Cresswell to name some on the coast. The Farnes open to visitors at the end of March.

Inland there is a woodland hide at Wallington Hall

Have to agree with all the other comments, the Pheasant shot really does blow the rest away. It's great!

Near to Amble you have several NWT reserves in Duridge bay. Start at Hauxley visitor center, and you will find lots of info on the other sites.

Keep an eye out here for up to date local info.

The Braid at Amble is worth a watch, few miles south is Newbiggin, Church point is good for Seawatching.
