Philosophical Acer....

During my long drive home through some stunning countryside, I took time to reflect upon what I drive past every day without my camera, thinking about all the wonderful sights I miss.
I was looking at some phot journalist pictures covering Africa thinking how wonderful it must be to look upon such beauty so far away... I reflected and realised that I dont make the most of what is litterally on my doorstep... I locked the car, walked to the front door where my Acer is happily growing, and the light was catching it... so I grabbed my cam and shot it!

Its not the best picture in the world, its not techincally great. But to me atleast it is symbolic of all the things I ignore on a regular basis which are simply stunning in their own right!
Anyhow enough of my ramblings, I think I need a pint of the Black stuff

you are probably right, it's not the best picture in the world, but then which one is...???
That said it's not half bad, could do with a bit of localised sharp'ing on the "in-focus" leaves
