Was experimenting last night with the different tubes and how close I can get to subject, all images are uncropped.

Tamron 90mm set to 1:1 and various tube setups starting from 21mm to 31mm then 21 & 31 together. Though I should have written down what setup for each photo... dohhh :whistle:

great shots. N04 is very detailed. I also like No2 but I keep getting distracted by the white hair, perhaps he is grandad.
 
I love these guys... They're a macro beginner's dream! :D

They're easy to find, they look cool and most importantly, they sit still!

Only problem is they are very plain and not very colourful so no good for practising lighting.

They're definitely very plain but I think that because they're translucent, they can be affected by the colours of the light that's around them... :)
 
Wonderful set enabling us to get a really good feel of this little 'being' - well done again Bryn :clap:
