Photium Image Quality?

Right, am I being overly paranoid here or has anybody else noticed that when you upload a photo to your Photium site the uploading seems to play with the quality of the file. It's as if its been compressed.

I'm sharpening the photos myself in PShop as I find the built in one a little bit harsh. I contacted them before about it but he said he couldn't noticed a difference.

If I upload the same photo to Flickr its night and day.

Can anyone tell me if its me? Failing that is there anywhere that is as easy to setup but doesn't play with the quality?

I've got one as well not had any problems do you resize to 800 longest side before uploading

I make sure no sharpening option is selected when uploading and I also resize to whatever size is being shown, in my case this is now 800px on the longest edge.

I resize them myself to 800px longest side and select the no sharpening feature.

Its not extreme but its frustrating, I've selected a photo that isn't perfect as its most noticeable.

The colour has changed ever so slightly and it has softened the image.

I agree it is a tad softer I will take a look at some of mine and compare
