Photo frame card mounts.

I cut my own mounts, part of the hazards of being an artist I guess, framing my own paintings. Buy the mountboard in a pack of 6 sheets, you can get four 20x16 from a standard sheet. Check out Fareham Gallery in West Street, choose whatever colour suits.

Can you? What size boards do you get I can only get two out my board with a lot of waste

Thanks for the replies.

I would like to do my own mounts but am struggling to find the right bevel cutter. As i don't know which ones are good and which ones aren't. There are quite a few to choose from.

Cotswold mounts seem like my best short term option at the moment.

Thanks again.

I use cotswold mounts for " mass production" stuff, but if it's a bespoke size then I cut it myself with one of these

Ooops,, see post below

A visit to any decent art shop should get you a mount cutter. Logans are good, I use a cheap and cheerful Maped which I've had for years, but does the job fine.
