Photo gallery with ability to choose images

Hi all,
I'm looking for some software to enable the upload of images to my website, with the ability to allow people to choose their selection of images and, email the list directly to me, not concerned about online payment being available.
Is there an application that will do this?

There are quite a few ranging from free to £100. Try looking at Jalbum (free) which hosts a number of options (called skins) created by users. Many may also have an option to offer payments via Paypal which can be disabled.

I have recently purchased fotoplayer ( a flash based gallery and cart system ) for a client project.

It will do exactly what you want ie. allow clients to select images and add to a cart and then email the cart to you. It also supports on-line payments etc. The downside is that it is not particularly easy to configure but it does have an interface for Jalbum

The Jalbum interface makes simple configuration relatively simple. If you are happy tinkering with xml and css then you can configure it without using Jalbum and have much more control over the feature set.

Just to add to this, I also use (on occasions) Breezebrowser which has this function. I also believe you can create similar with CS. I've also used EOS Template but that requires some coding knowledge but mostly just setting variables. This year I am using FotoPlayer (Lite version is free)with Jalbum but has needed a few hacks and adjustments to get it to fit my requirements. There are many skins in Jalbum which should suit your cause, just a question of running through them to find one you like. Most should be free also.(y)
