Photo passes for O2 academies.

I have been scouring Google to find of there is a way to apply for a photo pass for O2 academy gigs, as I have a few coming up that I already have tickets for, but can't find any information anywhere.
Has anyone here had any luck communicating with them to get a pass outside of through the press?

There's no such thing as a 'photo pass'. It's a press/media accreditation.

Why would you require those credentials?

I want to take my camera with me, because my phone and compact aren't good in low light and one of the gigs is also a university reunion.

The follow the T&Cs of entry and see if they permit you to take a camera, but if it's just for pleasure be aware that the photo pits are working areas and not designed for the general public.

I've managed to contact the bands manager and he is going to find out for me and copy me into emails. Really good of him.
