I've been contacted through Flickr by what appears to be a fledgling budget airline flying out of the Philippines to use one of my pictures. It's not that great and a bit blurry as the IS could only do so much compensating for the movement on a ferry crossing at 1/6s.
They say they've shortlisted my image for;
Obviously I need to ask them for some sort of fee and having checked Alamy I've come up with a figure of US$600, but with them approaching me through Flickr they'll almost certainly move on to the next person until they find someone happy to give up all rights for the sake of a credit in their in-flight magazine. What do you think about asking for a couple of return flights from HK to Manila for next time I'm out there? :shrug:
