When using the "new" content aware fill (latest release of Photoshop), I select the part of the image I want to remove (lasso tool), and open the content aware fill tool, which opens the images in the tow windows, both of which are obscured by a a fairly high density checkerboard pattern.
The green selection box is there, and I can adjust it's size with the brushes, but the checker-boarding makes it impossible to see what is happening with the fill.
I'm on a pretty low spec mid 2011 Mac mini with high sierra, but this didn't seem to be an issue the last time I used content aware fill, which I suspect would have been a couple of Photoshop upgrades ago.
Anyone any idea what I might be missing?
