hi all,

i am trying to setup a photobooth businessas there is not much work in my small town, so i am trying to progress my photography business a little bit,
i have pretty much all i need for a photobooth setup, the only things i dont have are a printer, and software for my mac.

so my questions are what printer would you recommend for a photobooth setup, and what software can i use to tether my mac to my dslr

many thanks

What exactly do you mean for a photo booth? A photo booth in my opinion is a unmanned booth. If this is the case then mac is not really the answer.

If you are talking about a mobile studio setup then aperture 3 works great tethered and you need a good dye sub printer. Which one depends on what print size you are looking at producing.

The best software for a fully automated Photobooth (not a studio set up) is DSLR Remote Pro. But this is PC software only.

If you are looking for studio software, with a printer salesperson, then Lightroom takes a lot of beating. I have tried Aperture and it does the job, but have a personal preference for Lightroom.
