Hi all,

Usually get my prints done locally and opt for their 'lustre' paper finish.

However got some credit to use on photobox. Don't want the gloss to be too shiny but yet don't want the matt to be too dull.... Anyone with first hand experience?

All prints will be going behind glass in frames.

Cheers

If it's jessops then their lustre is just a matt same as you'd get in photo box.

No it's an independent printer. It's a half'n'half finish.

I have both matt and gloss prints from Photobox. The gloss ones I find are very glossy. If you're going to mount in a glass frame I would go for matt, I can take some comparison pics tonight if you want :)

My only experience with photobox are their pro posters, i like the Matt although while billed as Matt it still has a slight shimmer to it but all in all not bad for the price and colour has always been bang on and the same for the mono stuff I've had printed

Cheers guys, have the order in basket already with everything in Matt so thought as much.

It's mostly posters/large prints.
