photobucket or flikr

Personally I've used both but only paid @ flickr to go pro. To be fair I don't class both in the same field, I used PB as a spot to store sales photos etc. Hardly went back to PB in a while though.

Better UI imho too.

I have used both as, being a BTInternet user I get a Flikr pro account for free.

I find Photobucket full of adverts, but easier to understand than Flikr which I find littered with unfamiliar terms which I haven't got time to learn.

I tend to use PB for selling on ebay.

Thanks Elizabeth  still not sure which to go with but I think it will be Flicker as it seems the most popular :D

Rob

Hi Rob:)!

As Method says in post #2, they're two different kettles of fish to me. Flickr is a community of keen photographers - there's some wonderful stuff there - and you can join specific groups depending on your particular interests.

Photobucket is an intermediary 'photopark' for me! I'm new here, but rather 'old' (:D) on a popular UK computer forum where I often want to post an image. Photobucket gives you the IMG and HTML links, which makes this very easy:thumbs:!

I think they're both very good in different ways;)!

I use photobucket purely for hosting the images i post on forums, ebay etc. Flickr will give you more exposure.

I have two flickr accounts, one pro for the images that I consider to be photography, one for dumping crap on for ebay listings etc. Didn't like the old flickr, love the new layout.

I have a Flickr account but I have no idea how to use it! I don't know what any of the terms mean and don't know how to set up the 'licensing' settings! If anyone would like to explain that would be much appreciated!
