Photocrati wordpress themes

I have just had a look at these themes from Photocrati. They look awsome and quite easy to use (me not being too into writing code and stuff). They do cost $79 at the moment and i'm not sure whether i should take the plunge.

Has anyone used these themes before and is it worth spending the money on considering all the free themes around?

They do look good yeah

I trialled something similar with a plugin a while back for the gallery, it ended up looking similar to that but was only for posts/pages

maybe worth looking at before you spend money (I cant for the life of me remember what it was called though)

They do look pretty cool, but if you're wanting something more blog-like then its worth a look at the Graph Paper Press themes. I use the GPP Modularity theme on my shared blog and like it a lot.

Have a look at my site I have used a proPhoto scheme and combined it with Gallery2 for all the ecommerce. If you want to see how the buying process works have a look at the Nic, Morgan and Finlay gallery (password is hafod).

I have to say that does look really good. Was it simple to put together? The ecommerce looks ace on it.

I use one of these for my site.Its easy to use and their customer support is excellent. The only issue I have is that their is no easy way to make theme modifications and then upload them. Modifications to the theme need to be done through the wordpress control panel.

For a shopping cart I use photocart anyway, so have a seperate database within my webhosting and just point clients to it direct. The lack of a shopping cart isn't an issue

I too would take a look at GPP's themes. I use one of them (link) and everyone seems to love it. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and their support helped me get what I wanted out of it, very impressed with them.
