Yes
as seen here

after a quick search it shows a few people have them but are they any good? and more importantly 2.2m is bloody huge isnt it? do they fit in an average room ok as thats what mine would be used for mainly if i got one, only need a cheapish one for now, but is it worth getting one of these or one that has stands and a muslin (sp) background?

thanks
Matt

also any pics of them set up in a room would be fantastic :)

Yes and no!

I love mine, excellent! These pics below first 3 were taken last week with bounced flash, 3rd in natural light, all in a nice bright room. The last 2 were taken in a smallish room with no natural light, florescent lights and bounced flash. Some brightness/exposure PP in LR. Flash was SB900 on camera.

It gives a great white backing and the train is good although can bunch/crease up and needs to be used on carpet as on wood it slides everywhere! Downside, it is pretty big and I generally use a smaller backdrop in peoples houses. In an ideal world there would be a 1.8m one. If someone has a 4 bed house I would say its probably fine, although this does need to be rested against a wall. Smaller houses I find just dont have wallspace.

Yep, I use one and can't fault it. I would definitely recommend getting a stand for it though and wouldn't go into someone's house with it just resting against a wall as it can easily come down if a small child decides to go exploring. I use a Lencarta stand which cost me £80. I've never been to a job where it hasn't fit, and I also use three flash heads (one either side to light the background). I find as long as you give people prior warning as to the dimensions required, they move things about to make room.

PM me if you want to see any examples.

good idea but tbh i'd rather go for a normal background and stand they're near useless without a hook/stand and not really wide enough in some respects which leaves the shooting area feeling a little cramped

i've had mine out twice and now it just sits in the corner doing nowt :)

Thanks for the replys, part of me still thinks it'll be too big for what i need bt then i think the smaller ones you can get will be too small lol.

I could spend £30 less on a background with stands and and a 3x8 meter muslin background which would work i suppose but then i think i was worrying the 2.2 meters was too big lol

I have two and have used them in studio and in peoples houses and have had no problems.
I think they are really good value for the money.
