photographers with the same name as you?

I'm going to be a second shooter at a wedding, (i'm very excited about it at the moment.)

There is a Wedding photographer that has the same name as me in Nottingham (and his stuff is really good)

I'm abit worried that if I post my images (even here) along with my name that its going to start effecting him in some way with images turning up in google that don't belong to him (and vise versa)

WHat is the best way to procced so that I don't tred on his toes?

Whether you choose to differentiate in some way depends on whether you think you'll gain or lose There's quite a few Chris Gilberts out there but one of them is Christophe Gilbert, a rather talented Belgian digital artist. As much as I like the idea that people might accidentally end up on my site instead of his any pleasure is mitigated by the fact that thier arrival will be followed swiftly by crushing disappointment

He actually emailed me a few of his images years ago when I was just startting out but the email was all in French and I had no idea what it was all about. Sadly I didn't follow it up.

There is someone else trading with the same name as me, only found out after i bought the domain.

I quite often get emails intended for him, normally of complaint.
