With all due respect the OP said he would "prefer" a Windows based solution. He did not categorically state that he "didn't want" a Mac based one. There's a distinct difference. Something perhaps only Mac users can perceive.![]()
At the end of the day, it's all about personal choice, be it camera manufacturer or operating system. There's no right choice; there's no wrong choice. All we have are opinions. Because it's so small that it's really hard not to miss important details in the image, or even get a clear idea as to whether the image is sharp. Some processing can certainly be done - as I have done - but I'd always want to re-check an image on a 20"+ screen to see what I'd missed.

I use a 13" Macbook Pro. I have a big fancy computer in the office - when you're out and about, or flying for work, the idea is to have something small and lightweight.
I'd use it for a 'quick fix' but I'd never dream of using it for any kind of final edit.
The difference being that James & I do this for a living.
Why not? I use mine for PP in the field a fair amount.
Too small. It's fine for culling, but nothing more.
