Photography courses. Any recommendations?

I'm due to be made redundant in June, and as such, the company i work for is offering all it's employees a retraining grant of up to £2000.00 As such, we are allowed to look for courses to either help us to retrain for a different professional career, or to improve our skills with a "hobby". I have been looking at a couple of courses, one being a 10 day course with a company in Dorset called First Point Photography, (formally known as Brook Photography), and also been looking at a package of courses put together by Jeff Turnbull in Essex. Has anyone had any dealings with either of these 2 companies, or has anyone any recommendations for any other photographic training courses that i may be able to look into? Many Thanks.

I did a day's wedding course with Jeff. Really nice bloke. For me, the course was too much for a beginner, but was enjoyable, informative and I still picked up some good tips and advice.
His 121 mentoring may be a better option for you, as you have the money for it.
