Hi, sorry as this has probably been covered before.

but I really want to do a photography course but no where local seems to offer them (or some do but they have already started and wont start again until next september).

can anyone recommend me either a course or anything that i can do to improve my photography skills as i am very new to it all tbh.

i will be going to buy micheal langfords - basic photography tomorrow hopefully so i can read that for now, but i would like someone to teach me/show me about it all as i think i learn better that way.

sorry for the long post.
thanks in advance
matt

edit: i also subscribed up to the digital photography magazine

Sorry, sounds I'm as much as of noob as you, but I'm pretty sure Jessops have a building somewhere down south from me (Huddersfield, W-Yorkshire) and they run courses aimed at specific levels of photographers.

It'd be expensive, they'd leave you standing around for ages, then some spotty pre-pubescent kid would come over and go "huh? a course? dunno".
