Photography for billboards / advertising hoardings

Does anyone have any experience of shooting for large 48 sheet billboards? I'm guessing I don't have the right large format film equipment, but was wanting to check before turning down a potential commission.

a 60mb tiff shoud be sufficient for a billboard image.

Don't forget that the original 4.2mp 1D was used for soooo many billboard campaigns when it was released - am sure you'd be fine

The thing with a billboard is that you don't look at it from 1ft away do you? So that'll hide a lot!

Once the image you supply goes through a RIP, and is resized, the dots that make up the image will be large, but like Matt said
