A while back there was a thread about gift ideas for photographers. It had gifts for under £10, £20 etc. I've tried searching for it but can't find it. Does anyone know the one i mean, or have any ideas?

I guess if i can't find it, nor will others. But worth asking.

Thanks for your help,
Matt

Are you thinking of sending all TP members a gift...:lol::lol:

Are you after something yourself or someone buying for you...

Its for a close family friend who i know would like something photography related. Seen as i apparently know about photography, gift purchasing has fallen to me.

I was thinking of buying a domain name, hosting it and then letting him use wordpress or something similar to create a blog, or something to host and share his photos. I think this is quite an easy thing to do?

Interested in this, I have £50 of jessops vouchers to spend, way short for a 70-200mm.....

how about a years professional subscription to flickr? £20 IIRC....

What sort of things does he/she take pics of?

How about 7Dayshop? They usually have lots of cheaps odd bits for photography. I've used them many times and have never had a problem with them, but can take just over a week for delivery.
