I am about to begin a website project and am looking for some ideas. The website is going to be www.photographylocations.co.uk which I have registered. The whole point of the website is for uk people to share good photographic locations with each other.
The site will:
- allow users to add a new location and upload images taken in that location. Other users can also comment/ rate/ add their own images of the location.
- users can search for locations within a certain radius of a postcode/ town
- locations will be sorted into categories
I have seen a couple of sites that have added this type of location finding but not as thorough as I want to do it. I want to create a very detailed database of every good photography location within the UK.
Does anyone else have any suggestions or good ideas that could also be incorporated into this site before i start the project?
