I remember a while back someone posted up a link to a website they'd started were people could geotag good photographic locations in the UK. Can anyone remember the URL?

Also, is there any good sites already up and running with a similiar kinda idea behind them? It's just that I'm fed up of visiting the same places over and over and I'm looking for some new places. Flickr map is good..... if you know were you're wanting to go.

Hi Danny

Somewhere on TP theres a thread where it give TPs photo locations, Ive just had a quick look but cant find it maybe someone else knows where the thread is

Are you looking for places around Warrington or further ?

Where I'm from in Warrington - Some nice places if you go up to Hill Cliffe, Appleton (park at the top of Red Lane) above Walton Golf Course / Reservoir / Bridgewater Canal.

Both. Tried most of those apart from Walton golf course. May be worth a try!

Thanks everyone for the replies, it was the treckr site that I had in mind

Helsby Hill, Delemere, Tatton, Lymn Dam, Marbury Park, Grapenhall Village, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey.......

Try Carr Mill Dam on the East Lancs Rd.St.Helens.Lancashire Powerboat club have racing there some weekends.Another couple of miles away on the St.Helens to Wigan road is Billinge Hill with views south and west. You can see the Mersey, Widnes Runcorn bridge, and Jodrell Bank from there.
I used to visit a very picturesque village just south of Warrington,Great Budworth. That was a while ago so don,t know what it is like now.

Thanks Scott. I am one of the people behind www.treckr.co.uk If they location isn't already there, please add it so others can find it. And give me a shout if you have any ideas etc :)

It's a great site and one I'm sure I'll use tons. Only problem at the minute is there's virtually nothing in the midlands on there
