Hello,
Intro: I'm Albert, just turned 30 last week. I'm considering myself to be much more of a nature lover / admirer than 'amateur photographer' however photography is actually my hobby. I own a Nikon D200 DSLR and basic 18-200mm lens kit, planning to purchase 105mm micro lens soon. I'm really passionate about all sorts of nature miracles and spectacles so that's what I do mostly.
Question: I'm looking for some international photography organizations (probably freelance) to join. The reason for that is not to get ID cards or passes or that kind of stuff (it turns out that it's the reason for most people as I've been told
... it is to take more 'proffessional' path, have access to guidance and tutorials, build my portfolio, find websites and services which would allow me to present myself to the world and maybe start earning some money with my hobby. Of course being a member of international organization might help with all that, especially with advertising. news and information.
Does anyone have any ideas about such organizations? Please note that I'm not asking if it's worth it or not, just asking if anyone is a member or heard about any of them being particularly good or bad.
Thank you.
