Photokina 2012

Any thoughts on the latest offerings at Photokina - any surprises, disappointments! Are you lusting after anything on offer ?

Must say I'm surprised the Nikon d7000 has not had an upgrade/change replacement , after all the hype in various circles .

There's just too much on the way/to be announced/already announced to comment yet. There will be a wash of new compacts, 4/3 offerings, FX 'compacts and sub-models of already sub-models - Fuji have about 5 out already! Confusing much?

I am on the look out for a really decent compact camera with a decent sensor, full manual control that shoots RAW and has a juicy bright lens. There will be tonnes of options on that front I think.
