I entered a draw in Outdoor Photography a while ago and my name got pulled out of the hat.........so off to Whissendine, Rutland, yesterday to meet John Wright of "Photographers on Safari". He has a falconer who bring birds to a clearing in woods that John has set up with the landowner, specifically for this kind of shoot. The birds all have tethers, which are difficult to hide when they are flying, but when "posing" get hidden well.

I've tried (not sure how effectively) to clone out the tethers in the flight shots!!

I've also desaturated the backgrounds in the flight shots, as the birds got a bit "lost" in the green backgrounds.

C&C welcome.
