Photoshop 7

Can anyone tell me if Adobe Photoshop 7 will allow me to manipulate photos saved in "Raw" format.

No mate, photoshop 7 doesn't support RAW.

Correct me if I'm wrong but PS7 was the release before CS2. I only got CS2 last year and I've been shooting RAW since 2004/5 so I processed my RAW images somehow and I only had Photoshop.

Maybe, I'm wrong but I'm sure I used PS to handle the Nikon NEFS as Nikon Capture was too cumbersome

Which camera are the RAW files from?

You can still convert them in another program, export them as e.g. tiffs and open them in Photoshop 7.

I thought Photoshop CS came after 7 and before CS2

It did, Photoshop 7 > Photoshop CS > Photoshop CS2 > Photoshop CS3

If you have CS7 you might want to consider upgrading before CS4 comes out.It's possible that you wont be able to upgrade to CS4 from 7. When CS3 came out Adobe limited the upgrade to the last 2 versions of Photoshop.
