Phottix Nikos vs TR-90... what's the difference?

Trouble is, other than the price I can't actually tell what the difference is other than the price... anyone?

The TR-90 takes 2XAAA whereas the Nikos takes a CR2032. Functionally I think (don't know for sure) that they are probably identical, although the interface design is slightly different.

I have the TR-90 (for Canon), recently bought from etefore (to whom you link) on eBay with a winning bid of £17.00. It does everything I can imagine a timer remote needing to do, and I prefer that it takes AAA cells too. Being cheaper is a double bonus.

Thanks Tim... looks like the TR-90 could be the way to go. Bought a fair bit from etefore now, always had good service from them
