Picnic Sacene

Hello all, any advice on how to shoot a great picnic scene? Equipment, lighting, poses, props??

Yes, there is a family who want a picnic scene as there family photo, I've got blankets, cake stands, cupcakes etc etc, I'm trying to achieve a warm summery feeling,

oh, don't forget the dog jumping in the air catching a ball

I've got sandwiches, nothing in them mind you, mind bring along my dog, however can't see her jumping...way to fat for that!
