Up until recently i always bought the mounts and frames and framed my pictures myself. I thought i would try a professional framers and see the difference in quality, price etc.
I will never again use a pro framer. There was no real difference in quality but there was a BIG difference in price. £15 to do it myself or £75 to get someone to do it for me
I realise the guy had to make a profit and overheads and i'm not saying he was expensive. I'm just saying you can save a lot by doing it yourself.

Where abouts in London? The one I use for our pictures (not photos yet) is in west London near Wimbledon (raynes park to be precise) and is called gleeson framers. A little pricey but superb and they have coped with some rather extreme challanges that I have thrown at them!
